Insured producers concerned about the impact of pest or disease damage to their crops are advised to use good farming practices by seeking and following the recommendations of agriculture experts, such as Extension specialists and certified crop advisors. Efforts to control damage from pests should be documented and provided to the insurance adjuster in the event of damage or loss. The partnership programs funded by RMA include a documentation aid that insured producers may use to document their good farming practices used to control pests.
