Public information is dispayed on Asian soybean rust and the soybean aphid is shown on the national public site at http://sbrusa.net. This information is geared primarily to soybean growers and those who advise them, but may also be useful for researchers, policy makers, and others. The information is easily accessible free of charge to all.
There are several groups that have access to the information behind the PIPE web site. The largest group is composed of individuals from the land grant university system such as extension entomologist, plant pathologists, diagnosticians that are involved with various PIPE components and provide information to the PIPE public or restricted access web sites. Another group with access is federal government employees such as those from the RMA or the USDA that either participate in or are involved with overseeing specific PIPE related projects; this group would also include those individuals within the federal government that are working on research pertaining to the pests surveyed for through the PIPE system. Individuals within state governments, specifically departments of agriculture that are involved in survey or oversee scouting and management activities for the state may have access to the information behind the PIPE. Other users with access include researchers and private sector partners.
